Funder and co-implementer of Career Turn and Career Boost projects
Recently, in the ongoing first edition of Barriers Breaking Opportunity project, remote trainings has ended and the participants have taken the final exam. Now is the time for mentoring/coaching sessions, where beneficiaries will work individually with employees from State Street.
BBO is project debuting this year that we are developing together with State Street. After each session, we collected feedback from participants to know what they liked and what needs to be refined. Here are a few of them:
If our assumption is to find a satisfying job, and not "waiting" then it is definitely a job in itself and full-time. Some people manage to do it very quickly, others are unemployed for a long time. You can talk about happiness here - an individual matter. However, if we assume the element of happiness in this process, then "happiness should be helped". Therefore, we should not expect work to knock on our door - nor any important thing for us.
All people who have been domesticated are sick. Their mind is controlled by a parasite that feeds on negative emotions arising from fear. These emotions, combined with self-blame, that is, the inner judge, and the ability to play the role of a victim, build a specific value system that is a shelter for the parasite.
The vast majority of job advertisements contain a range of requirements that a potential candidate should meet. We are talking about professional education, knowledge within a given issue or specific psycho-physical predispositions.
Of course, there are very specialized professions, and that's what we're talking about here. The general majority of advertisements refer to more "social" positions in nature. Today's post is dedicated to these jobs.
I would like to describe today's post from my own perspective. I work for a foundation as a participant in one of these great programs. I worked for a company in Krakow for many years, until I realized that I needed a change. The program in which I participated offered me a three-month paid internship in a selected company, as well as the help of a job broker when finding it.
I would like to address today's post to people who are socially excluded for a variety of reasons. As you know, the goal of our Foundation is to help such people through the Career Turn, Bariers Breaking Opportunity, etc. programs. the demands of the current labor market. Additionally, we focus on coaching / mentoring of the work environment in order to prepare our candidate for the challenges of the labor market in the best possible way. We help in finding a job and watch over the first steps of our pupils' new career path.
